How Soon vs. How Good — Explorer

Original: Individual Dots

Each dot is one researcher. Color = value-belief cluster. Hard to read density because dots overlap heavily in the center.

New: Bubble View

Responses are binned into a grid. Each circle's size shows how many researchers fall in that bin (number labeled inside when ≥5). Color goes from red (pessimistic) through yellow (neutral) to green (optimistic), based on the average net optimism of people in that bin.

This makes it easier to see where the mass of opinion sits and whether "soon" predictions tend to be more optimistic or pessimistic.
